Oh, the power of mentoring! While out in Colorado Springs, CO this summer, I was inspired by the terrain and mountainous landscape. I painted 12 paintings to depict the season and terrain I was in during various mentoring/discipling relationships. This project will be honoring significant mentors and disciplers in my creativity and faith journeys. Music, audience participation, and shoes (yes!) will guide the story along. The event will be held at the lovely Holy Family Shrine glass chapel in Gretna, NE with a reception following. Artwork will be for sale. (If weather is bad, makeup date is Saturday, April 6th, at 2pm).
